Akogun Lere Oyewumi, PhD Celebrates Triple Victory with Landmark Projects and 65th Birthday Bash.
Ikire, Nigeria – In a remarkable display of commitment to education and community development, Akogun Lere Oyewumi, PhD, yesterday celebrated a triple victory by handing over eight newly constructed classroom buildings to St. David’s Anglican Grammar School in Odeomu. The completion of these classroom buildings is set to provide a more conducive learning environment, benefiting countless students and teachers in the area. Lere’s leadership continues to inspire hope and drive positive change, ensuring a brighter future for the good people of Osun West he serves with the commissioning of another blocks of classrooms at a school in Odeyinka town near Ikire.
Another in the series of his birthday celebration is the commissioning of a road that took place as the completed Oba Solomon Babayemi/Akiriboto road was commissioned amid funfare at Gbongan. highlighting the significance of education in shaping the future of the senatorial district.
As part of the celebrations, Oyewumi also made generous donations of three Mazda Jeeps to some of his old allies and dedicated party members whom he described as “very reliable confidants and political associates”, part of the donations to other party faithful within the Senatorial District included three tricycles, and about numerous motorbikes, refrigerators and grinding machines to support local parties faithful with a view to enhancing their means of livelihood.
This kind gesture demonstrates Akogun Lere Oyewumi’s dedication not only to educational advancement but also to economic empowerment within the senatorial district.
The event was rounded with a surprise birthday celebration of Akogun Lere Oyewumi’s 65th birthday, bringing together supporters, senatorial, and local leaders.
Hon. Sunday, Bisi, the Osun State PDP Chairman, was present to officially commission all the projects, reinforcing the importance of collaboration in community development.
One of the commentators noted, “These are the types of projects some governors would execute and invite another state governor to commission, showcasing true leadership and commitment to progress.”
