Mrs Babajide Olusola Alice, the immediate past principal of Royal Queen’ school popularly called Ooni Girls’ High School, Ile-Ife, finally depicts a popular Shakespear’s All’s well that ends well as the woman of substance steals the sow at the grand ceremony splendidly held to mark his meritorious service of nation building.
She was a woman of all parts, contributed to the teaching profession, of caterpillar and bulldozer, humble, and her humbleness keeps her going day and night. Her leadership style is loved by all. Babajide lived a life like Anonymou’s play Everyman.
Her pen down ceremony afforded many principals, teachers, parents, unions and students to glowingly appreciate the amiable woman of reticent extra for his impactful contributions to humanity through the noble profession.
They were three professional collosus that steal the sow simultaneously; Babajide, Adediran and Atobalo who have through chalk and talk profession served their father land meritoriously.
The occasion which had her immediate family, husband, children and speakers after speakers took turns to lace the tributes paid to the woman with messages too warm and spectacular to be undermined in x-raying the good quality life of the woman that can best be described as an uncommon citizen of the world.
As gladding as the ceremony was, which could be likened to a social fiesta and cultural jamboree, there was a lot of scholarly as well as educative knowledge to derive from what could purely be described as the end of the service life of the urbane, refined and benign latest retiree and newest senior citizen in the state.
The persona, became a text of all which was vigorously studied for her service life and dramatically revealed in various expressional thoughts, pointing to a complete humanist with near-perfect qualities.
The occasion afforded speakers to pour encomium on her which coincided with her birthday, a double decker celebration. When she was called by the theatrical master of ceremony for her birthday, Babajide completely stole the sow.
Now that Babajide has given us how best a woman can be remembered. Her huge contributions to the pen profession, humanity, would be difficult to forget. Her experience, knowledge, and advice would be missed by all.
