BREAKING: Federation of Apomu Students SRC Suspends President Over Misconduct Allegations
The Federation of Apomu Students Representative council has Suspended the Union President, Comrade Babawale Solademi over an abuse of office.
This is contained in a letter unanimously signed by the union Legislative arms led by Hon. Adewale Serifdeen and addressed to the President. The Vice President of the Union is to take over with immediate effect.
Below is the details of the letter.

From: Federation of Apomu Students Representative Council (FAPS SRC)
Subject: SUSPENSION FROM OFFICE
By the authority vested in us by the constitution of the Federation of Apomu Students National, I hereby notify you of your suspension from the office of the President, effective immediately.
You are being suspended due to the series of allegations against you and the obvious gross misconduct in office, which violates the constitution of the union you were sworn to uphold
Your suspension shall remain in effect until further notice, pending the outcome of the investigations.
During your suspension, the Vice President, Hon. Comr. Fatai Najeem Yinka, shall assume the duties and powers of the office of the President. All the union documents with you should be handed over to the vice president
Also, the Acting President should go ahead with constituting the electoral body that will see to the affairs of the forthcoming election not later than a week and send it to the house for proper ratification
Please note that this suspension does not constitute removal from office, and you shall be entitled to due process and a fair hearing.
