BREAKING: security Agencies Deny Issuing Protest Permit To Fake Teaching Applicants Union

Report from security agencies indicated that no protest permit has been issued to a fake teaching applicants group, describing any report to the contrary as fake news.

“We don’t give permits to faceless groups. We won’t allow any group to plunge the state into a new round of crisis, “a security chief confided on the report.

Osun Democrats for Democracy (ODD) had last night raised alarm over plots to disturb public peace by a fake, strange union of teachers’ applicants fronting for the opposition All Progressive Congress APC).

“ As lovers of democracy, we bring to the attention of the public a new dangerous agenda by the APC to create mayhem. A non-existing group has allegedly written to the police to seek permission to stage a protest against delay in the release of appointment letters to successful applicants for teaching jobs in the state.

“ In another strange development, we learned the police service has reportedly given go ahead for the protest to hold.

“We are worried that an unregistered association that is not known to the state or the law is organising a protest. It is even more disturbing that such an illegal group is reported to have secured police protection.

“We affirm that no applicant will form a group to fight his likely employer and even put his name on the press statement. The statement and the application for protest to the police are simply the handiwork of APC operatives.

“From all available facts, it is clear the said group is simply a political front by the APC. The development is a ploy to organise touts and thugs to unleash mayhem on the state and therefore provide pretext for the removal of democratically elected officials in Osun state.

“We call on the police authorities to deny approval for the fake group for such a protest as it is clearly a political move to start another round of political conflict in the state.

“We alert the presidency to this new evil plot and seek the immediate intervention of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to prevail on the police not to grant protest permits to the illegal group.

“We are aware that the state government has just concluded the process of releasing letters to successful applicants in batches as earlier directed by Mr Governor and any attempt to plunge Osun into another round of crisis should be nipped in the bud”, the group had alerted the nation.
