Durojaye celebrates Osun Speaker, Egbedun at 39
The Special Adviser to the Osun State Governor on Cooperatives and Empowerment, Honourable Durojaye Isaac (SIKOMOLE) has hailed Osun State House of Assembly speaker, Hon.(Rt) Adewale Egbedun for his selfless service and contribution towards the development of Osun State as he celebrates 39th birthday.
Durojaye made this known in a message by his media office, congratulating the Speaker on the occasion of his 39th birthday celebration, describing him as a man whose life is worthy of emulation.
Egbedun who is the 8th Osun Speaker, has been described as one of the most youngest, finest and humble speaker Osun ever had, passionate about his constituent and Osun at large.
The Special Adviser said, the speaker is a man whose legacies of selfless service are evident in his legislative duties and functions which have been taken the state to a greater height. He is one of the strong pillars that behind successes made in Osun today.
According to him, his 38th birthday is a moment of reflection and celebration. The lawmaker’s birthday is not just a celebration of his new age but the impacts and accomplishments that defines him.
He lauded Egbedun’s passionate interest in the growth and development of people, a trait he said, is evident in the ease with which he commits his God-given wealth to helping the weak and the deprived individuals in his constituent.
Durojaye noted in his message, that “Egbedun’s birthday is a unique opportunity to praise God for the wonderful purpose he serves in peoples’ lives; the lives he has impacted positively; and more, how the speaker continues to be a great source of hope to numerous young people to attain greatness.”
“Egbedun is a man who ticks all the boxes for his constituent, friends and people to ensure that the poor, deprived breath in Osun. The speaker has brought smiles to the faces of the people in all facets of life.
He said Rt. Hon. Egbedun has in the last one year while heading the state’s legislature justified the overwhelming confidence reposed him, adding that he has every hope in the capacity of the Speaker to mobilize the House towards the progressive agenda of his administration.
“I have observed the Speaker, Egbedun, for a very long time, and what I have come to realize about his person and passion for service, are a strong pointer to his exceptional leadership potential,” the Governor noted, adding that “This is why I am not surprised at how he has so far managed the Assembly that not only is the legislative body in sync with the government developmental agenda for Osun, but also working so hard to deliver for his constituents.”
“He is worth emulating in many things. He remains one of the biggest sponsors of individual and communal progress in Osun and Nigeria as many has benefited from him through his legislative acumen. So, he is a blazing fire that lighting the way for others to follow”, Durojaye declared.
“On the occasion of his 39th birthday, I thank God for his life and the grace to make difference in the lives of people who look up to him”.
“It is my prayer to Almighty God to bless you with good health, energy, and the unending blessings of God so that our people in Osun and humanity as a whole, will continue to enjoy your uncommon kindness and generosity”.
Durojaye, however, called on the younger generations to emulate his legacies wherever they find themselves as he is known to be kind to mankind.
