EID-EL- MAULUD 2024: Hon Dr Biyi Odunlade Felicitates with Muslims Ummah Worldwide, calls for Unity and Prayers Amidst Challenges
Osun State Commissioner for Poticial Affairs and Intergovernmental Relations, Hon Dr Biyi Odunlade, has extended his warm felicitations to Muslims across the state and the nation as they celebrate Eid-el-Maulud, the birth of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W).
In a message made available to standardnews, Hon Dr Biyi Odunlade called on the Muslim faithful to reflect on the teachings of the Prophet, which emphasize love, peace, tolerance, and unity. He urged them not only to celebrate the occasion but also to practice the values Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) stood for, particularly in these challenging times.
As we mark this special day, it is important that we embrace and live by the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W). His life serves as a model of compassion, justice, and steadfastness.
“Let us use this celebration as an opportunity to renew our commitment to these values in our communities and our daily lives,” the Commissioner stated.
He further expressed his hopes for the peace and progress of Osun State and Nigeria as a whole, encouraging all citizens to contribute to the development of the nation by fostering harmony and understanding, irrespective of religious or ethnic differences.
Hon Dr Biyi Odunlade wished all Muslims a joyous and peaceful Eid-el-Maulud celebration, praying for continued blessings, peace, and prosperity for Osun State and Nigeria.
Hon Dr Biyi Odunlade also uses this medium to commend the good work the governor of Osun State Asiwaju Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke is doing for the good people of Osun as the world celebrated the world Democracy day on the 15th of September of every year.
