Eid-ul-Maulud: Imbibe teaching of Prophet Mohammed, Adeleke’s SA, Durojaye urges Muslims
The Special Adviser the Governor on Cooperative and Empowerment, Hon. Durojaye Isaac has called on Muslims to Imbibe the spirit of patience, sacrifice and resilience.
Durojaye made the call in a statement by his media office, congratulated all Muslim faithful both home and in the abroad for witnessing this year’s occasion. Eid-ul-Maulid is the commemoration of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
“I want to admonish Nigerians to imbibe the spirit of love, patience, tolerance and perseverance which are deep spiritual virtues that the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) exemplified.
“Durojaye urged Nigerians, especially the youths, to embrace the virtues of hard work and peaceful disposition to fellow humans, irrespective of faith, ideology, social class and ethnicity and join hands with Governor Ademola Adeleke’s led-administration in the state in his effort to build a progressive and enviable state that all citizens will be proud of”, the statement added.
He admonished Muslims to use the occasion of Eid-ul-Maulid to pray for the state and the country to continue to witness peace and progress especially during this economic hardship, “it is true that Nigerians are going through hardship owing to poor economic policy of the present administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu”.
*We need to pray for the unity and security of the country as youths are not finding it easy to have a country of their dream. We should restore their hope”,the statement added.
