Gov Adeleke Approves New Generators For OSBC Conglomerate – Oloso

Governor Ademola Adeleke has approved the procurement of brand new generators for the OSBC Broadcasting village, Ile Awiye Oke Baale Osogbo, Orisun FM Oke Itase, Ile Ife and RealityRadiovision service Iwo.

This is with a view to addressing the epileptic power supply affecting the smooth operations of the government owned Media Conglomerate

The Board Chairman, Osun State Broadcasting Corporation, Engineer Mayowa Oloso, disclosed this when he featured on Imole Ayo, an enlightenment programme which promotes the activities of governor Ademola Adeleke’s administration on OSBC Radio and Television channels

Engineer Oloso explained that the gesture is apart from the one point two billion naira digital transmitters, masts and state of the art studio equipment recently purchased by the administration for the use of all radio arms of OSBC.

He also disclosed that the installation of the newly procured equipment which commences on Tuesday will be done simultaneously in all the three radio stations and will last two weeks

The OSBC Board Chairman assures of regular training and retraining of staff who will be working with the equipment, in and outside Nigeria to familiarize them with the new trend of digital broadcasting

Engineer Oloso appealed to all lovers of OSBC Radio 104.5 FM to exercise more patience with assurances the consistent problems of off air for a few hours of the day being experienced by the station will be a thing of the past immediately the new transmitters and studios equipments are installed.

He blamed the ugly development in the station on equipment that was purchased during Governor Oyinlola’s administration,which has now become obsolete.

Engineer Oloso also made it known that the state government will resucitate the television arm of Osun state Broadcasting Corporation in line with its commitment to turn around the Government owned media establishment.

The OSBC chairman expressed optimism that by the time the on going turn around measures are completed, the media conglomerate will reclaim its status as the voice of the west.
