The Caretaker Vice Chairman of Ife Ooye Local Council Development Area, Hon. Adeniji Adeyinka Adams celebrates with all Christians faithful on this year’s Easter.
In his felicitation message, he described the Easter period, as a season that’s not only for merry making, but a time to think more deeply about the love and sacrifice of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
” I want to congratulate my beloved Christian brothers and sisters on seeing this year’s Easter. May we celebrate more on earth. Easter period is not only for merrymaking, but a time to reflect more upon the love and sacrifice of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
“We should not forget that, more than 2000 years ago, He came to this in human form, to be crucified, for the remittance of our sin. The only way we can appreciate Him is by not allowing His death to be in vain.
“Once again, I want to wish us all, HAPPY EASTER. As God lives, we will not be found missing. May we continue to enjoy God’s grace and mercy.”
