Barely a year of assumption of office as the Obokun Local Government Caretaker Chairman, Hon. Pastor Francis Olajire Agboola has justified his selection by the leadership of the party, the confidence reposed on him has been spot on and the mandate given to him by the Executive Governor of Osun State in delivering good governance to the people at the grassroots has been achieved in just few months.

One of the tests of leadership is the ability to recognize a problem before it becomes an emergency. Hon. Pastor Francis Olajire Agboola has an indepth knowledge of the plights of the people before assumption of office, no wonder it was easier for him to identify them and provide lasting solutions to them. A typical example is his efforts in complementing the efforts of the state Governor on road infrastructure by grading major roads in the local government which will boast agricultural produces and the resurrect the economy activities of rural communities.

Pastor Francis Olajire Agboola inherited a dilapidated local government secretariat structure with no basic amenities by the past administration of APC but the weaknesses of the past government has been turn to strength by this present administration. The secretariat as now be renovated, furnished, having running water and most importantly all the tractors abandoned by the evil APC has been repaired, just of recent a new mown and cutting grass was purchased and being used for the common good of the people.
The slogan of the people of Obokun is “Ajire lo bokun”. Hon. Pastor Francis Olajire Agboola has brought hope back to the people at the grassroot, he has unified all Committees members given them assigned responsibilities which they are all excelling in it.
Obokun local government is safe under Hon. Pastor Francis Olajire Agboola. He has run a friendly administration where constitutes have easy access to their leader, suggest way forward and their voices being heard through suggestions and constructive criticisms.
