LG ELECTIONS: HOW APC’S BLACKMAIL AGAINST YEYE DUPE FAILED
Concerted efforts by members of the All Progressives Congress(APC) to blackmail Yeye Dupe Adeleke-Sanni and the entire Adeleke family over upcoming election have failed as the matriarch of the Adeleke family is not in anyway involved in the candidates selection process and as the leadership of the party is fully in charge of the exercise.
Yeye Dupe is not a party official nor a government official, hence constant dragging her names into the political process by jittery APC hierarchy. Yeye who is daily focusing on managing her businesses, discharging her role at the Adeleke University and praying for the success of her brother is the target of a failing opposition that is afraid of imminent defeat at the February 2026 local elections.
The PDP leadership in Osun State has issued timetable and guidelines. The state electoral commission has released the electoral timetable as well. The Party has also slated stakeholders meeting ahead of the party primary and selection processes. The Party chairman has constantly assured party members of level playing field.
In what way is Yeye Dupe the issue? Or is it a crime to be a sister of a Governor? Or is it wrong to always pray for the success of one’s brother?
Across the local governments, PDP leaders are preparing and taking decisions on how to ensure successful local polls. Rather than prepare for election, APC operatives are busy spreading lies and falsehood against Yeye and other members of the Adeleke family.
Let it be repeated here that Yeye is not involved in the selection of PDP candidates. The circulating video clip is the handiwork of APC people. The public should ignore the fake news.
