Osun Rep Calls for Urgent Investigation of 2023 Population Census Funds

Yesterday during the plenary session, Hon. Clement Ademola Akanni (Olohunwa), representing Boluwaduro/Ifedayo/Ila Federal Constituency, made a strong call for an urgent investigation into the alleged misappropriation of N200 billion allocated for the preparation of the suspended 2023 population and housing census. The motion, seconded by several lawmakers, emphasized the need for transparency and accountability in government spending.
