Sallah: Osun PDP Rejoices With Muslims, Calls For Stronger Bond, Neighbourliness
Osun state PDP wishes to take this opportunity to wish the entire Muslim community in Osun State a happy Eid al-Adha, the annual feast festival, reminding human race of significance of absolute love and unmitigated obedience to the command of Almighty Allah.
The lessons at the heart of the Islamic teachings which are reflected in the annual celebration of Eid al-Adha include; trust and faith in the promise and blessings of Allah, gratitude, generosity and charity.
As the ruling party in our dear state, we admonish all adherents of Islamic faith to live by these important tenets, in order to promote stronger bond in a deeply heterogeneous society.
The administration of our leader and Governor of the state, Asiwaju Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke will continue to pay premium attention to our peculiarities as a people. His Excellency will continue to promote peace among our people for good Neighbourliness, which we see as a veritable recipe for required developments.
As we celebrate our differences in an identical cultural heritage, let us also endeavour to acknowledge the values that unite us – compassion, kindness, and generosity.
May this year’s Eid bring us closer together as neighbors and friends, and may our communities be strengthened by our shared humanity.
