Southwest PDP ratifies the Chairmanship of Barrister Kamorudeen Ajisafe
The leadership of the People’s Democratic Party today ratifies the Chairmanship of Barrister Kamorudeen Ajisafe popularly know as Kosolowe as the Southwest PDP Chairman that comprises of six States in the Southwest Zone; Osun,Ogun,Oyo,Ondo, Ekiti,and Lagos State.
The Party leaders come together to fix the Vacant position of the Vice Chairman after the death of the Former Chairman who is also from Osun State,Late Oluwatukesi Adesoji Adagunodo who left this sinful world unexpectedly.
The unilateral decision to fix the Southwest Chairman was ratifies and supported by the leadership of the party from the six States of the Southwest region and all the Apex agreed on the treaty.
The Apex Leaders in the Southwest solemnly agreed to work for the progress.The Apex Leaders also preaching the Unity of the party and urge all members across the board to support the affirmative agreement of the Southwest leaders.
In his remarks,the Executive Governor of Osun State,His Excellency,Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke expressed his pleasure on the move of the party leaders in the Southwest,and said PDP is back and we are ready to work together as one and with unity.
Engineer Seyi Makinde of Oyo State promised to immortalise the Former Southwest PDP Chairman, Honourable Oluwatukesi Adesoji Adagunodo to give on ending life to him.
In attendance; Executive Governor of Oyo State,His Excellency,Governor Seyi Makinde,His Excellency,Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke,the former Governor of Osun State,Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola,Former Governor of Ondo State, Engineer Olusegun Mimiko,Former Senate President, Senator Adophus Wabara,Owokoniran,the Senate Minority Leader, Senator Olalere Oyewumi,Senator Olujinmi, Ambassador Taofiq Arapaja, Barrister Kamorudeen Ajisafe,Alh Rahman Owokoniran,Ladi Adebutu from Ogun State,Osun State Speaker, Right Honourable Adewale Egbedun,the Southwest Executives, Serving Senators in the Southwest states were present,the Six State Chairmen were present and former Senators were also present.
The Southwest leaders of PDP validate the Chairmanship of Barrister Kamorudeen Ajisafe Kosolowe.
