Osun 2026: Governor Ademola Adeleke’s Continuity is the Only Path to Sustainable Progress
By Engr Shakbab

In every corner of Osun State today, from the bustling towns to the quiet villages, one name echoes with love and admiration — Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke. The people call him Imole because he came as a light in our darkest hour, wiping away 12 years of pain, poverty, and broken promises inflicted by the wicked hands of the Osun APC. In just two short years, Governor Adeleke has done what the APC refused to do in over a decade: he gave Osun people dignity, hope, and development. Now, the people want that light to shine brighter — until 2030 and beyond.
Under the APC’s 12-year reign of terror, Osun was buried in debt, workers were abandoned, pensioners left to suffer, and infrastructure completely neglected. They looted our resources with no conscience, turned governance into personal business, and left our state gasping for breath. But God answered Osun’s cry with Imole. Governor Adeleke came and began to right the wrongs with speed, humility, and bold action. Where the APC built hardship, Adeleke is building hospitals, roads, and schools. Where the APC spread hunger, Adeleke is spreading jobs, empowerment, and social welfare.
In just 24 months, Governor Adeleke has constructed over 250 kilometers of quality roads, renovated 99 schools, upgraded 200 healthcare centers, drilled 664 boreholes, and introduced the state’s first ICT and digital economy agenda. He has paid salaries promptly, implemented a ₦75,000 minimum wage, and gave pensioners a monthly ₦25,000 lifeline. He didn’t stop there — he recruited 10,000 Osun youths into Education, Health, and Environment sectors, and 1,150 into the state’s security corps, giving them purpose, dignity, and hope. “When good people lead, even the blind can feel the progress.”
Today, Osun people are united and resolute — we will never go back to Egypt! We will never again allow the demons of oppression and the architects of suffering in the Osun APC to hijack our future. Their time is up. Their lies are exposed. Their cruelty is remembered. We have tasted good governance under Governor Adeleke, and we want more of it. The difference is clear: while APC governed with wickedness and arrogance, Adeleke leads with love, compassion, and results.
The truth is simple — Osun has found a leader who listens, a governor who delivers, and a man whose heart beats for the people. Governor Adeleke is not perfect, but he is performing, and he is progressive. From students to traders, farmers to civil servants, artisans to elders, the song is the same: Ademola Adeleke must continue! We cannot afford to let Osun fall back into the grip of heartless politicians who only remember the people during elections.
As 2026 approaches, this is no longer politics — this is a movement. A movement for light over darkness, progress over pain, compassion over cruelty. The people are rising, the truth is marching, and the drums of re-election are beating. Governor Adeleke is the people’s choice, the people’s governor, and the man for the future. “He who brings peace to a troubled land must be allowed to finish the journey.”
Let the world hear it: Osun has chosen, and the choice is clear. Imole lo ni saa yii! Imole lekan si! Continuity is not just a request — it is a demand of the people.
