Oyetola Maladministration is a Setback to Osun State.

Osun State is located in the South Western Zone of Nigeria and is one of the prowess and adroitness States in Nigeria. The state is blessed with skillful people and is located in an accessible geographical area in Southwest, Nigeria.
Osun has been governed by different Governors since 27th of August 1991 when it was created out of Oyo State. History has it that all the former Governors in Osun State handed over properly, democratically, and peacefully to their successors but the reverse is the case of the erstwhile Governor; Adegboyega Oyetola.
Proper handing over in governance is a significant symbol of accountability and how responsible the former administration is. It also adds more credibility to the outgoing Governor and its administration. The proper handing over also details the Financial position of a State, the Revenue, Available Resources, Debt, Assets, and Liabilities of the Government.
It also details both completed and uncompleted projects of the Government and also Budgeting. Oyetola’s Administration has many things aiding and albeiting that was the reason he refused to conduct a proper handing over of his administration. He created a series of puzzling and perplexity for the current administration but with determination and focus, the Current Administration still managed to persevere.
Governor Adegboyega Oyetola and his cabinet looted the resources of the State and even to the last day of his administration which was glaring to the people of Osun State. The records are there for verification and confirmation, we have many videos of where APC stalwarts and those who served under the Oyetola Administration looted the State Government House, Government Offices and also went away with State Government vehicles and valuable properties.
This is not a good legacy that should be inherited from an expired political regime. It is highly disappointing to see political public figures looting the properties of the Government that belong to the general Public.
On his resumption to the office HE, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke placed a Transition Committee in place to meet Governor Adegboyega Oyetola Transition Committee for peaceful transfer of Administration but Oyetola deliberately turned this down.
Many complicated issues created by Governor Adegboyega Oyetola were manifolds; such as misappropriation, unexecuted Projects, illegal recruitment, conversion of government properties to personal use, stolen of government properties, diversions of government funds, and many more. History will never forget the mischievous attitudes of former Governor Adegboyega Oyetola and his Political Party APC.
This is not a repetition, we are only lamenting on the brutalized attitudes of the past administration under the leadership of Former Governor Adegboyega Oyetola so that the good people of Osun State will be conscious of APC maladministration and how they mismanaged and squandered the resources of the State.
Adeleke resumed Office and inherited a mischievous and rudderless administration from Governor Adegboyega Oyetola. The obnoxious administration of Adegboyega Oyetola created a tough time for the administration of Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke and with this, he survived to stabilize the Economy of the State and also solve various multi-hydra problems created by his absconded successor.
The current administration inherited over four hundred (₦400) billion Naira debt from maladministration of Adegboyega Oyetola. With this huge debt, the administration of Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke still managed to survive governance without borrowing.
Governor Ademola Adeleke started working out algebraic solutions to various inherited problems of the Oyetola maladministration. Formation of Committees was one of the strategies he put in place to ensure the State survives the maladministration of the Former Governor Adegboyega Oyetola.
Amidst this, the Current Administration under the leadership of HE, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, strategically intensifies efforts to ensure that Osun State survives from oblivion.
The people of Osun State should be careful not to allow APC administration to surface again. They may come up with attractive programs and propagandist methods to convince the good people of Osun State, but people should wake up and be wise enough to restrain their methods.
It is now left to the people of Osun State to wake up from slumber and never allow magician Politicians to manipulate them.
